Evening Clouds, Essex
|
This was one of those paintings
that so captured my attention that I was lost in it.
As I finished and "came to", I was shocked
to discover everyone else had long ago left, dusk
had descended, and the mosquitos had begun to attack
viciously. In trying to clean up quickly, despite
years of experience cleaning my palette with a razor
blade, I sliced my finger open. My bum finger made
me clumsy with the wet painting, so I got paint all
over my hands. Slapping at mosquitos thereafter, I
ended up getting wet paint and blood all over me.
By the time I left the park, I looked like I'd been
through a war. Ah, but painting is fun!
