“La Hague, Plage”

I painted this scene in Normandy in La Hague, about as far north as one can go on the Cotentin peninsula. Brightly clad guests from a nearby wedding came to the beach while I painted, providing welcome life and color, perfect to enhance my scene. This was about the only day I could spend in La Hague that wasn't too foggy to to paint.
