Crosby's Barns, VT
|
Having been generously invited to paint on this private property in Vermont, I was taken with the many rooflines of the Crosbys' barns. There wasn't much color variation in the scene, however. I guess I was in a particularly colorful mood, because I decided to play more adventurously with color exageration rather than attempting to honestly portray the scene as it existed. I remember the experiment as having been great fun, so I feel very light-hearted when I look at this painting.
