Katharyn and Becka
|
Fulfilling a lifelong dream, I learned to do a rising trot on Becka, a good-hearted mount. Katharyn was my instructor, here jumping Becka in good form in a Cape Cod competition. This painting recalls many happy hours in the riding ring. The riding lessons were a brilliant idea I had, a gift I'd give myself as a reward when I'd achieve difficult milestones in a jobhunt I wasn't moving quickly enough ahead. The idea appears to have worked, for I had job and had to move away when I'd taken only 4 out of my 5 prepaid lessons.
