“Jacky, My Sister”

My dad had taken a series of pictures of my sister years ago, and I've been particularly fond of this picture of her for years. I've always thought she was great-looking kid, and have just loved her long lashes. I guess I wasn't as pretty, because people often see pictures of us as kids together and ask if the kid with her—me—was her younger brother! This painting, Amy, and Little Julie were done in succession and are called the "Sister Series."
