“Still Life with Plant Hanger”

I painted this while in France, when I was staying for a few days at the wonderful art school Maison des Arts. A festival so overwhelmed the narrow streets that setting up an easel in the town streets would trip passersby. When the light hit this plant hangar on the porch just right, I had my afternoon's subject.
